I have issues regarding casting from a Chrome browser on my laptop to my Google Nest Mini (gen 2). I can cast from mobile without any problems.
When I try to cast from browser it says that no devices are found. I can solve this by reconnecting my Nest to the WiFi and restarting my laptop, but obviously to do this every time i want to cast it becomes tedious. I've tried updating Chrome, moving closer to the Nest, reconnecting to WiFi (without restarting my devices), switching the Nest off and on again, but still it seems the only method is to reconnect and restart.
Any thoughts? I can connect with my laptop via Bluetooth but this streams the entire device instead of an individual Chrome tab.

Hi aanneliesee,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: which browser are you using to cast from your laptop? Have you tried another browser to isolate the issue? Are you using a dual band router? If so, which band are you using for your Nest Mini and your laptop?
You can full reset your Nest Mini and set it up again as a new device, then observe if this will make a difference.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni
