Local search is dead

My Google Home Mini has become useless for any local search.
"Are there any coffee shops open near me?"
"Sorry, I didn't understand".
"Is Sprouts still open?" 
"Sorry, I didn't understand".

Seems the only thing it cant do is set alarms and reminders and control devices but Local search is dead. I already factory reset and rebooted my modem, router, and phone. Is this just dead?
