Making calls with the nest hub

Hi there thanks in advance for your help. I just brought the Google Nest Hub and want to make 100% sure if I make a phone call over it weather with google duo or not, that I am not charged for cellular data.  Or minutes. I read somewhere that you do not need to enter your # but am not sure and like I said I want to make 100% sure. Not have a bill surprise. I only use it at home with the hub beside my desktop on the network in the house.
