see the difference?  Also, I can verbally change the volume of the home max using google assistant.  The new volume is updated in the home app picture 2 but not picture 1.  Also, I cannot modify  the home Max's volume using the Google home app.  This is another BUG.  Issue does not go away with power cycle or factory reset.  Sometimes it does function properly.  Not sure why..... Who writes this software?

Hey JunkyBirdbath,

Thanks for reaching out — let's check this out.

When did it start happening? How many Google Home or Google Nest speakers do you have? Also, were there any recent changes on your network or set up? Could you try reinstalling your Google Home app?

Best,

Alex

Yes I do need help.  These devices haven't worked properly with the Google home app since the day I got them.
