This is the new Mini Gen 2 I bought couple of weeks ago. It can play Youtube Music, but when I try to "Play RTHK Radio 2 (1-5) on TuneIn", nothing happens.

Hi Juni
I shared my feedback per above instructions.
"All Google devices (Home, Nest Mini, etc.) are no longer able to stream RTHK (an online radio station from Hong Kong) anymore. The command used to work was “Hey Google, play RTHK 1 (or 2, 3, etc.) from TuneIn”. It worked like a charm but not anymore. It still replied, “Steaming RTHK 1 from TuneIn...”; however, the connection became unresponsive. This issue has been lasting for months and drove me to purchase Amazon devices for the same streaming purpose. Amazon devices have no issues at all. After sharing my voice in a forum, I was told to leave feedbacks here. I hope someone in Google will resolve the issue and I can resume my plan to purchase a Nest Audio. Thanks!"
Please let us know if you need any input from us!

Hello Dan, I just sent my feedback - hope that I did it correctly.
One interesting fact. When I said "Hey Google, play RTHK Radio 2", this was the sequence I then see on the screen:
- TuneIn app screen comes up (with TuneIn logo)
- Then the playing screen comes up trying to play
- The screen then proceeds to show that it was trying to stream RTHK 2 and the actual program segment name of the time showed up
To me, Tunein on the device can get the current program name but is unable to do the stream.

Same thing happened to me! And it is the main reason for me to postpone in buying additional Google home speakers!

Hello everyone,
How are you all doing? I know it's been a while but, could you confirm if things are now looking up? Are you now able to play RTHK radio?
Keep me posted.
Regards,
Dan

Thanks Dan,
May I ask if Google team has done any fix to the issue? I have packed my mini for the time being and don't want to bring it out to try if nothing has done yet. May be other folks who has the mini/other devices running can test.
BTW, for the Amazon device, I just need to say "Play RTHK radio 2" and it knows to play from Tunein.

Hello Dan, it doesn't work - I just tried with a Google Nest (one with screen). It just stuck at the "Playing Tunein Free" screen - in fact this is backward as previously it would switch to showing the RTHK2 logo and program name but not streaming.
Please get some confirmation from the development team that this problem is fixed would be more appropriate than ask users to test on a random day.

Not working. Same as before.

Hello Dan, hello Google,
Is there any update on this. It is surely not so difficult to find the cause of the problem and fix it. It is still not working.

I have this same problem and judged by conversation of this thread, looks like it is time to move on, forget the google product !!!

https://support.google.com/assistant/thread/210746628 - "The issue has been mitigated and all radio stations are back online. "
yeah, just not us.

Yes, with the reply given by Rikki Benton - "The issue has been mitigated and all radio stations are back online", it tried to tell that RTHK is beyond "ALL radio stations" and obviously it is a false statement. Google should at least give an update periodically until this case is completely closed. We all purchased Google’s products because we trusted Google and believed that it would deliver the best customer services. Now, on behalf of one of the frustrated customers, Google please give a meaningful update whenever you are ready.
