Missing some of the APPS on Google Nest Hub Max

How to restore the Apps on Nest Hub Max? So far I did a factory reset still couldn't solve the problem. FYI, Software  Version: 53.110.0.549404370, Chromecast firmware version: 1.70.377722. Please help.

Hi folks,

 

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. Aside from Google Meet, what other apps are missing that you noticed? If you swipe up from the bottom of the screen, you'll find the apps for displays. The list shows your top, frequently used, or recently used apps, followed by all available apps in alphabetical order. If possible, could you send us a screenshot showing it?

Hi Juni,

Thanks for your reply. When I swiped up from the bottom of the screen it was missing Youtube apps for a couple of weeks. In " See all" it was missing some of the Apps. I remember I saw YouTube TV apps and others there. Right until 2 days ago the "YouTube"  app and others appeared. in "See all" some apps appeared double and the "YouTube TV" app disappeared.   By the way, I got my screenshot, and how to upload it? Please let me know. Thanks

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Check out the steps below on how to link a photo.

 

  1. Click “Reply to the topic.”
  2. Click Insert photos.
  3. Choose an image source location.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions

Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.

I use to see Spotify and Pandora and you tube but poof all disappeared

Hi Skydog,

Try to click " Reboot" on the Google Home app. That was how I solved my problem.

Hello Juni,

I clicked on “Reply to the topic.” and I couldn't find the button "Drag and Drop" to insert the photo. Then I tried to drag the photo from my folder here, it showed "You do not have permission to upload images." Please let me know what should I do next.

Hi there,

 

Understood. After reply to the topic, you can tap the camera icon instead then attach the image from there. Also, please provide the firmware version of your Nest Hub Max. Check out the steps below on how to get it. 

 

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Tap your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

Hi Juni,

After I clicked "reply....." It has 23 icons but no camera. The last icon is "Table".

The Cast Firmware: 170.377722.

I still don't have the "camera" button after I clicked the "Reply to the topic..."

FYI, I solved the problem on my Google Nest Hub Max by clicking the "reboot" on the Google Home app. All the Apps appeared normal on the Google Nest Hub Max now.😀

Hi,

i can’t make a videocall to more than one person at the same time with my nest Hub Max, before the update I had google meet and that was possible, but now I just have the Duo app and I can’t add more persons and neither use a link to join a call
