After switching from DSL router to T-Mobile's new Home Internet playing music on home group, or just moving music from room to room stopped working. Did factory reset on all home speakers, deleted and recreated home group, even cleared all data from Home app itself. This gateway has no options other than to change wireless settings. No ports or anything I was used to from the old Century Link router. All speakers work just fine otherwise, but we sure miss the option of playing the same music throughout the entire house. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

I'm having this same problem despite not changing anything on my network. I say "hey google, move music to office" and it responds "Okay I'll play it on office. Sorry I'm not sure what you wanted to do, you might want to try again."
Update: just checked other speakers and I was able to transfer the music to my google home in my master bedroom. Still having problems with my Office Home, though. Even rebooted it and had the same issue.

I've had this problem and found that removing phantom devices helps solve it (among other problems). This can be done by installing an old version of Google Home (1.19.26).

Don't really need help as much as a fix put in place. The system worked for a while, then stopped, then worked again, but now has stopped working again. "Hey Google, move music to the Office speaker." Just doesn't work anymore. "I'm sorry. Something went wrong.". Nothing changing on my end, so I assume it's at Google's end.

Mine's working right now, but now I'm afraid it will stop working again per @slashinpdx 's post. So, yeah, remediation steps would be nice because it seems like this is something on Google's end.

Following. Same issue here.
Me:
"Hey Google move the music to All Speakers from Kitchen"
Google:
"Got It, I'll play it on all speakers. Sorry, I'm not sure what you wanted to do. You might want to try again."

Mine started with the "something went wrong" after deciding on its own to internally replicate my All Speakers group. So when I asked "play music on all speakers", it responded "You can play that on all speakers, or on all speakers". So I went into Google Home and deleted the speaker group.
But when I tried to create the group again, "No devices found on this network". Waited a few minutes and tried again. "The speaker group was created, but something went wrong" even if I pick a different name.
Now I'm looking at the Google Home app as all the devices seem to alternate between online and offline, almost like they're installing firmware updates. My All Speakers group reappeared, as well as the "everywhere" group I made while testing different names.
So I deleted it again. After having deleted "all speakers" twice, I can now ask it to play music "on everywhere" successfully.
Renamed Everywhere back to All Speakers.
"Hey google, play this on all speakers"
> "Sorry, that didn't work. You might want to try again later"
Conclusion: "all speakers" is cursed now, so I'll have to get used to saying "play this on every room"

I think this issue is maybe related to the same discussion in this HUGE other thread:
Check there to see what support just told me to do.
