Hey avinrekha,

Welcome to the Google Nest Community Forum.

Sorry to hear about your Google Home device, but thanks for bringing this up. A few questions: How long has the device been in use? Was the device in use before the issue occurred? If Yes, what was the device used for (broadcast media, play music, etc.)?

  1. At the side of the Google Home speaker, unplug the power cord and wait for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in and wait until the 4 LED lights up on top.
  2. Repeat the first step, 10 more times.
  3. After the customer plugs the power cord back in the final time, wait for the device to reset. The device announces "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that it's ready for setup.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi
