My Google Hub Max is showing internal temperature instead of outside temp

I don't own a Nest thermostat. I have a couple of Hub Max's, and some Google home (nest?) speakers. This just starting happening. I went into setting at set Weather to hidden, and back to Show, but still inside temp. This is the weirdest thing.

I'm not quite sure what's happening in your situation, but I don't think there is any way for a Nest Hub to measure, much less report, the indoor temperature.

The Nest Hub Max does not have the Sleep Sensing feature, and even if it did, there does not seem to be any way to access the indoor temperature used by the Sleep Sensing feature.

Hi folks,

We appreciate the help, MplsCustomer and Dianahemes.

CliffordW, Google Nest Hub Max doesn’t have the feature to detect your interior room temperature. A few questions: when you ask your Nest Hub Max for the weather outside, are you getting the same result on the screen? When did you notice this issue? Is the address in your Google Home app updated?

Try rebooting your Google Nest Hub Max, and also make sure your Google Home app address is updated.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Juni
