My Google Nest Mini can not detect my WiFi network

I tried resetting my nest device and also tried to set it up with different mobile phones.

Thank you for reaching out. That is definitely a frustrating issue that your Google Nest Mini is not detecting your WiFi network. I would be more than happy to look into this issue and help find a solution with you. First, I have some questions:
  • Is this the first time you are setting up the device?
  • Is this a new issue? Was your Google Nest Mini connected to WiFi before?
  • Is your device powering on?
  • What error message are you getting from the Google Nest Mini? What does it say?

I am facing the same issue currently and the answers to your questions are as follows:

1. Yes this is my first time setting up a device

2. It connected to my wifi once and then the next morning it started yelling no wifi connection detected.

3. It is turning on completely fine

4. I reset my device and now it isn't detecting my wifi while setting it up back again.

  • First, is this issue still occurring? 
  • What country are you located in?
  • Are you on the same WiFi network as your other devices? 
  • What type of WiFi do you have? A one-step private connection or a public WiFi that takes you to a landing/login page first?
  • Could you try to connect your device to a hotspot? Does the issue still occur?
