My Google home mini is not responding properly

my Google Home mini turns on all the things in the room when I ask you to turn on the lights. The same thing happens whenever i ask it to turn the fan on. Basically when i ask it to turn the light on it turns the fan on too and vice versa.

Thanks for reaching out. It sounded like you do not have your devices assigned properly within your Google Home app. Here's a guide to help you set up your devices and also assign them to specific room(s). This should resolve your issue.

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few things: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers the your 3rd party smart devices.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Once done, see the guide provided above by listairee. You can review the devices in each room and if you can, you can edit them.
