My Nest Mini plays the same music every day

I use You Tube for my speaker but it plays the same thing every time.

How do I change the music that plays on my speaker?

Hi CJTCollins,

 

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let's check it out. A few questions: what is the music that you're trying to play? When you ask for a specific song or artist, does it still play the same song? When did this concern start? It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops. Restarting your phone might also help.

Thank you Dan for your messages.  I've been using You Tube, and although I have a library of music that I listen to on my computer, it doesn't seem to link to my Nest Mini. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try what you suggested yet.  I've been overwhelmed with other important stuff, however I hope this weekend to have an opportunity.

Hi Muddi, sorry for the delayed response.  I just have too much going on.

I finally tried what you suggested but without the router since it was disconnected by a technician who didn't think I needed it anymore since he was connecting better internet.  Nonetheless, I unplugged the speaker for a few minutes but it still plays the same thing.

I am going to have to do some research when I get a chance.  You mentioned a guide but I didn't see the link.  Would you be able to send me a link please?
