My new google home device sees itself in a wrong location. It gives me the wrong weather forecast and so on. I have tried to add a home location in google assistant - "Your Places" but it does not work. The device sees me somewhere else.
Anybody has any clue on how to fix this?

Hi xradiax,
Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Go to your Google Account home address and check if it is showing the correct address. Also, open the Google Home app > Settings > Home information > Home address. Then, reboot your Google Nest Hub Max device. Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Alex

Hi, I managed to figure it out. It all started from an issue with the google maps on the zip code. When I initially added my home (years ago), I added the street and number. The zip code was wrong and was added automatically and I could not change it. So in the Google Home app, the Home Location had a wrong zip code. Apparently, the zip code is the one that matters the most... I managed to update it. I also asked for a change to be done on the google maps app and was accepted. Cheers!
