My nest constantly keeps changing display language

Hi,

My Google nest hub 2nd edition keeps changing language to Spanish eventhough I change it to English from home app. It keeps English for a few hours and the returns to Spanish. 

Can you help me?

Thanks for reaching out and for providing detailed information on your issue and the steps that you've done — these are of great help!

 

You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest Hub 2nd gen for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal. Once it’s back on, observe if it will do the same thing.

Thank you for your reply. I followed your instructions but nothing changed. Please note that I have two devices of the same type in the same network and both of them are facing the same problem. Are you sure that this is not a firmware issue. I did not had this issue in the past.

Apologize for the delays. Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. Could you tell us the firmware version of your Nest Hub (2nd gen). You can follow the steps below or visit this link to learn more.

 

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings > Device information.
  4. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX"
