My nest hub cannot communicate with my iPhone

I have tried factory resetting, updating my iPhone, re-downloading the Google home app, checking if my Wi-Fi works (it does) but the same message keeps appearing on the screen. My network settings are on. I don’t know what to do.

Ps, I have tried everything that you are about to suggest 😞

@2good

You could try contacting Google Nest Support starting with this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

In order for other customers to offer suggestions in this forum, I think we would need to know a little more, like:

What exact message are you getting? Is it on your Nest Hub or on your iPhone? Are you getting a message on your phone during setup saying it could not communicate with your Nest Hub? If so, has your Nest Hub been set up successfully in the past?

Does your Nest Hub appear in your Google Home app? If not, was it there previously?

When you've done a factory reset, does the Nest Hub tell you it's been completed?

What, if anything, displays on your Nest Hub? Can you do anything on your Nest Hub?

Hi folks,

Thanks for the help MplsCustomer.

Hi 2good, thanks for posting. This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you. Could you answer the questions that MplsCustomer posted, so we can better assist you?

You can also check the distance between your Nest hub and your WiFi router. It should be at least within 15 feet during set up. Also try to disable mobile hotspot on your iPhone during setup.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Juni
