My new google home won't connect to a wifi that requires username+password

Hello, I am trying to set up my Google Home Mini for the first time. There is great wifi signal where it is being placed. However, the wifi network requires a user name and password in order to connect. There is no option for username when trying to connect. When I put the password (without a user name; just the network ID) it doesn't connect. How can I connect this device?

  • Could you please provide a picture of the message that you are receiving?

  • Have you tried any steps to troubleshoot the situation besides entering the network ID?
