Hi,
I'm trying to use the native google white noise for my baby’s room.
I can successfully get it play on my google nest mini and it plays on repeat. However. the track is only an hour long and so every hour there is ~5 seconds of silence before it replays.
A babies go through sleep cycles of about 30-40mins and are easily woken in between. The silence at the end of the track before it restarts often wakes my daughter up completely. As you can imagine, this is heartbreaking for a tired parent!
Is there any way of playing the white noise through the google speakers without this break? We have tried using bluetooth from our phones or our linked Spotify accounts via google home but have had issues of dropouts etc so would prefer to use the native sounds if we can.
Thanks for your help.
Hayley

Hey Hayleym,
Thanks for reaching out.
With Google Home, you can relax and unwind with a variety of soothing ambient sounds. Also, Ambient sounds will continue to play for 12 hours if not turned off. Check this link for more information.
Hope this help.
Thanks,
Alex

The white noise (we actually use the rain sounds) will play until I ask it to stop. However, the track that is used is only 1 hour long so every hour there will be a brief period of silence (~3 seconds) before the track starts playing again from the beginning. This brief silence between loops of the track is the problem.

Hey Hayleym,
Thanks for the update. Have you tried using a different relaxing sound if you'll get the same result? Give resetting your Nest Mini a try to see if that helps.
Best,
Alex
