Nest Audio will not poweron

Hi,

My Nest Audio suddenly will not power on. I have tried a different, known good, outlet. I have also tried a known good power supply.

Before stopping to work entirely, it sometimes would begin the startup sequence with the four flashing dots, but freeze mid-way, i.e. two dots lit brightly and two dimly. But unresponsive to any inputs or factory reset.

What would you advise?

• When you plug in the Nest Audio, are any LED lights visible?
• Are you using the official power adapter that came with the speaker?
• Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the issue began?

In the meantime, try discharging the speaker with these steps:

• Unplug the power adapter from both the outlet and the speaker.
• Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
• Plug the power adapter back into the speaker.
• Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that you know works.
• Check if any LED lights appear on the speaker.

No, nothing happens.

Yes

No
