Nest Hub 2 - Use Camera folder as a photo frame gallery

Hi Team,

Can the camera folder be used as the gallery for photo frame? While setting up photo frame, Google shows the option of Recent highlights along with some shared albums. However, all the photos clicked from the pixels camera are not shared and are not a part of an album. So, is there a way to set the camera folder as the photo frame gallery without adding all the pictures to a new album? I'd like to see older photos from 5-7 years ago in the frame but since they are not a part of recent highlights, they get missed.
Please help

Thanks!

Hi saifilmaknojia,

Thanks for reaching out.

When your Google Nest Hub or Google Nest Hub Max display isn't in use, it can quietly keep you entertained. You can add your favorite photos to Google Photos and display them in your Google Nest Photo frame.

You can add or remove albums with the Home app or your Nest display.

Home app:

  1. Open the Home app .
  2. Tap your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings and then Photo Frame and then Google Photos.
  4. Select albums to add and deselect albums to remove.

Nest display:

  1. Say “Hey Google, change Photo frame.”
  2. Tap Google Photos.
  3. Select albums to add and deselect albums to remove.

Available albums include auto-selected albums like “Recent highlights,” your private Google Photos albums, and your shared albums that have a name.

Make sure that your preferred photos to display are marked as "Favorites".

Hope this helps.

Best,

Princess
