Nest Hub 2nd Gen screen went black

Hi.

My Best Hub has no warranty. It was a gift and the second one I have with a burnt screen(black). I could reset one of them and use a speaker, but the second one was in a reset process and now I don't have a code to scan or key number to enter because the screen is black.

There is any way to resolve this? At least to get the number? There is nothing written on device, and if I loose the 3rd one I will give up with Google Nest Hub devices.

Thanks

Hi there!

Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you’ve been experiencing with your Nest Hubs. I understand that the displays of two of your three have gone black and are not turning on again. You’ve been using one of them as a speaker, but the second one is not even set up on your account. No worries, help is here.

To verify that we have followed the correct steps to factory reset your Nest Hub, here I send you the steps you will need.

  1. On the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.

You can check the next articles for further information: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays,  Google Nest speakers and displays and  Reboot Google Nest or Home speaker or display

Tell me how it goes.

Regards,

Daniel.

I have exactly the same problem, having tried a full reset and switching on and off nothing has worked, my screen is still black over my photo frame which is visible on the edge.
