Nest Hub Gen 2 doesn't show online in Google Home app

Hello,

My nest hub gen 2 doesn't show as online anymore in my Google home app. All services work fine. It's connected to the internet. I can ask it stuff. It also plays music. When it plays music, since my app thinks it's offline, it doesn't give me the "banner" to play/pause/stop the music played on it. In the Google home app, when I click the offline nest hub it is online and I can control it there no problem. Shopping music or even changing settings. In the app it still gets displayed offline like I said and I don't get media control because of this. I already made a factory reset on it. Any ideas?

Hi Doniel,

 

Thanks for posting. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. Are you using Android or iOS? Is the Google Home app updated? Are you connected to the same Wi-Fi network? Have you tried reinstalling the Google Home app? If not, try it and observe if it makes a difference. Using another phone will also help isolate this.

Hi, I didn't check the last days. Now it says online.. didn't do anything. Will check if it stays like this now!
