Nest Hub Gen 2 will not connect to wifi

I just changed internet providers. the nest hub was previously working fine with the old provider. It will not connect with the new one. I've reset back to factory settings 5 times & unplugged it numerous times. Every time I go through the setup process it does not even list my wifi internet. I've reset my router 3-4 rimes as well.

Hey danielbugeja10,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how challenging it is when your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) is not connecting to your network. I'd love to dig deeper into this. A few questions: how far is your Nest Hub (2nd gen) from the router during set up? Have you tried using a different phone/tablet? Is your network visible to other devices? Do you have another Google speaker/Nest display that is able to connect?

To eliminate network issues, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your 2nd gen Nest Hub).

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

Nest hub and audio will not connect no matter what. It’s not far from the router. I have Google chrome cast on a tv which is further away and outside in a garage and it connects fine.

Also another google speaker which connects fine.

And as expected the hotspot didn’t work either. When trying to connect the google home app does not even bring up the hotspot or home internet on the list to connect too.
