Nest Hub Max screen flickering at Google logo (g)

I bought a Nest Hub max and gifted my parents, working fine until recently.

The display is now flickering and stuck on Goggle logo page ("g" showing on screen).

I have tried factory reset twice and reinstalled in their Home app, with no success.

Other than the display not working, the device seems to respond correctly.

Strangely, I was even able to play a YouTube video by giving a command, but when going back to home screen or slideshow the screen just goes to flickering the "g" or blank.  I could not get any other video to work, for example they also have Nest Hello doorbell but that video does not work to display on the Hub Max.

Does anyone know of a way to do a more thorough reset, it seems some weird thing may have happened to cause the display not work work for most use cases, but it can work for other cases. I did the factory reset by holding both volume buttons down for a long period of time. I did the reset 2 or 3 times with no success.

Many people have this issue... Google is doing little to fix it.
