Nest Hub Max stops playing videos and music

My Nest Hub Max won’t play media for more than a few minutes. No matter if it is a Youtube video or Spotify audio, it starts playing but after a few minutes it stops and goes back to the home screen. It is the same if I cast from my phone, or I use the voice or touch controls to start payback.

I think that in order to isolate the reasons and to find a solution to this situation, it is necessary to consider the related factors, so please reply to the following questions:

  • When did the issue begin?
  • Were the music play settings in the app recently changed?
  • Can you please check that the music play settings have not been changed?
  • Is there a time limit for the songs being played, for example, a 3-minute duration before returning to the menu for every program?
  • Did you recently change the Google Nest Hub Max or the router location?

In the meantime, check if there are new Wi-Fi appliances or wireless interference sources at your home and verify if the YouTube and Spotify apps versions and subscriptions are up to date.
