So, I purchased three Nest Hubs (2nd Gen) with the intention of gifting them to relatives for Christmas. I was then going to create a NEST HUB photo album, which I would share with them, so I could add photos of my son to the album, thus creating a continuously updating photo album for their new “photo frame”.
Well, I opened one to set up, so I would know how to set it up for my family members. For some reason, every time I set it to show the album I’ve designated when the screen is inactive, it defaults to the Google Curated album. I’ve tried everything; resetting the hub, deleting / adding the album, selecting / de selecting the album, etc.
Am I missing something?

Did you setup in your web Google Photo? (from any device that can access Google Photo, I use my PC) I went there to create an album reserved for Nest (you can use any album there).

No, I set it up from my iOS Google Photos app, but I found a solution.
I deleted the album and changed the name from NEST HUB - FAMILY to Nest Hub - FAMILY. It seemed to like less capital letters, I guess?
