Hi there!

I understand how frustrating it must be to have your Nest Hub not respond consistently. It's a reliable device that should make your life easier, not more difficult.

Let's try to troubleshoot this together. Could you please provide some more details?

  1. Commands: What specific commands are you using when asking your Nest Hub to play music? For example, are you saying "Hey Google, play music on Spotify" or "Hey Google, play some rock music"?
  2. Music provider: Which music provider are you trying to play music from? Are you using a specific service like Spotify, Pandora, or Amazon Music, or are you simply asking for a genre or song?
  3. Google Home app: Which music provider have you configured in the Google Home app under Settings > Music?

Now, let's do some troubleshooting:

 Confirm default music provider:

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap on Settings.
  • Then tap Add + > Service > Music.
  • Make sure the default music provider you want to use is selected.

I'll do my best to assist you further.

Regards,

Brandon.
