For some reason, Spotify lyrics is not showing in my nest hub max. I can only see the icon for 1 second during the start of the song. I can't see it anymore after that. Help please! Thank you!

Same issued here in Vancouver BC. Supposed swipe up & Spotify App will appear on the list of "See all" , but it disappeared a week ago. I used my Nest Hub Max from Jan 2023 and it seems easy to just one click the icon and my Spotify will play. But it's not convenient for my staffs to use their voice to ask Spotify on cuz they are not speaking very good at English. I will send a feedback on my Nest Hub Max.

Re-opening this issue since the original thread (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Nest-Hub-not-showing-Spotify-Lyrics/m-p...) was monocratically closed by a "Community" Specialist (sorry but adding a reply and locking a conversation doesn't sound like community to me).

For the past couple of months, the "display lyrics" on Spotify button is shown on the display for a couple of seconds when the music starts, and again just before it ends (usually lasting more). And if you manage to click the button, then the lyrics are displayed correctly and will be kept open when the next song plays.

The last information provided on the original thread was that this was a Spotify change. I don't believe this is accurate. I can still see lyrics everywhere else (mobile app, desktop, web browser). I also don't think Spotify has that many tiers of subscription, or any mentions about this being an exclusive feature. If someone wants to close this thread by putting on "them" (Spotify) to fix it, please provide enough information to support your statement. There are technical, well-versed people in this community too.

Thanks for reopening this thread. Agree with you that the problem doesn't lie with Spotify. If it was with them then the lyrics shouldn't even appear for 1 seconds. This is obviously a big that needs attention.

We're seeing many reports of this working again (and I can attest to that too), so I guess now it could be a good time to close the thread again 🙂

Thanks

Hey all, it appears that my 1st gen Google Home Hub is now showing the lyrics/heart buttons after not appearing for many months. I'm not sure if this is an update on Spotify's end but things are now working as expected again on my end. Hoping it's the same story for everyone else in due course.

Same here, not sure if it was a google or Spotify update, but as of Monday October 16th the like and lyrics buttons are now showing on my device. The update even changed the lyrics button to a mic 🎤 symbol instead of a page 📄 like it used to be. Hope the issue gets fixed for everyone else soon!

For reference, I'm located in Quebec, Canada.
