My Nest Mini keeps getting unlinked, forcing me to re-add it and it gets unlinked within 24-48hrs after that. This happened to another Nest Mini a couple of years ago and I just gave up and recycled it. The account that is supposedly unlinking it is my wife's and she has an iPhone in case it matters.
System firmware: 313652
Cast firmware: 1.56.313652

Hi Mckillio,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. Are you getting a notification on the Google Home app that your Google Nest Mini got unlinked? You can check that by opening your Google Home app then tap the icon at the lower right. It will show you your Google Home app history. Check the Google Home App feed history to see if there is any recorded activity of your Google Nest Mini unlinking.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Juni

1. There is no serial number in the app or on the device. Where can I find it?
2. #
3. Bathroom speaker
4. Already provided it.

Hi Mckillio,
Thanks for the details you provided. You can go ahead and do a full reset on your Nest Mini to put it back to its factory setting and set it up again as a new device then observe if the issue remains. Check the step below on how to do the reset.
Here’s how to do the reset, on the side of your Google Nest Mini, switch the mic off. The LEDs will turn orange. Press and hold the center of your Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your Google Nest Mini will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more until you hear a sound confirming your Google Nest Mini is resetting.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni
