Nest Mini in house with multiple WiFi zones

BS6600

I have 3 WiFi zones in my house. Since December I have been moving the mini from room to room and it worked.

Since 2 days ago it will only work in one room.

I didn't change any setting and other devices work ok in all zones.

Any suggestions please?

I took the easy way  and bought a second Nest Mini on special deal. One for each room.

Hi BS6600,

Glad you reached out.

Thanks for the details you shared. Since you mentioned that there are no changes on your WiFi settings and it used to work before, have you already tried unplugging your router for a few minutes?

Let's go ahead and try that, unplug your router for 20 minutes and plug it back to refresh your network settings and also avoid the congestion on your network. Let's check if this would resolve this concern.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Princess

Thank you Princess,

Since you replied I have had a birthday and my daughter gave me another Nest Mini speaker.

This means the problem has gone away. I'll leave experimenting to someone else.

Regards,

Bill

I wanted to check in and see if you managed to see Princess_S post? Are you still in need of any help with your device not connecting to the Wi-Fi? Please let me know, as I would be happy to assist.
