I have moved and just bought my nest mini with me and when I try and connect it to my wifi it is saying that I do not have my local network connect when I do. It this a problem with my nest or with the Wifi?

If you have moved you will need to factory reset and setup your nest mini from scratch, luckily is a quick and painless procedure!
