I've seen this issue posted hundreds of times but I've not seen a clear solution. I purchased a 2nd gen Nest Mini last week and I'm trying to link it to my Hue (bridge v1). After I link the two via the Home app, which directs me to the Hue website, the Google Home app says "cannot reach Philips Hue at this time." I have removed the Hue connection on my Google account and all the references to Google on the Hue backend, but the same issue persists. Please help otherwise I will return the device.

Hey there,
Just wanted to hop in here to see if we still needed help on this. I'm sorry to hear about the issues that you're having with this as I know it can be frustrating. I have sent this information over to our engineering team and they ask that you provide them feedback through the Google Home app to them. They suggest including the keywords, "#Lights" along with the name brand of the lights and a short description of what you're encountering.

Hi, I am still having the issue. I copied my Support query above into the Feedback section of the Google Home app. Wish I could be told a solution, since my research indicates hundreds (if not thousands) of people are having the same issue.
