Nest Smart Google Hub camera

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. 

 

I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. A few things: Are you trying to view the built-in camera of your Nest Hub Max or another Nest camera in your house? What is the distance of your Nest Hub Max from your WiFi router? What steps have you tried so far? 

 

Try to reboot your Nest Hub Max to refresh the device and see if it will make a difference.

Hello, Nest Hub Max with build in Camera, has no problem with wifi connection, example  Google voice commands and searches only when  attempting to view movement from Camera Nest Movements)  notifications so when attempting to view movement  as per notification all I have is spinning circle and never fully connects to view, was the main reason of purchase

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. It looks like some of the questions haven't been answered yet. 

 

  • Are you trying to view the built-in camera of your Nest Hub Max or another Nest camera in your house?
  •  What is the distance of your Nest Hub Max from your WiFi router?

Let's try these steps below:

 

  1. Move your device within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get a better network signal.
  2. Remove the device from your Home.
    1. Open the Google Home app.
    2. Tap the device > Settings  > Unlink or Remove device > Unlink or Remove.
  3. Perform a factory reset on Nest Hub Max. To do this, hold the volume up and volume down buttons for 10 seconds.
  4. Set up your device again, then check if it will have the same behavior.

It really is frustrating, I’ve re-installed and if a robbery was taking place I wouldn’t catch anything on video, connection may or may not connect if connection with camera does work it could take 5-10 minutes
