My Google Home attached devices will not call contacts in my linked account. I have followed all the setup instructions and can even call directly by providing a phone number. It does not recognize any of my contacts and will not recognize any Household contacts added to the home app. Any suggestions before I remove and switch to another platform?

Hi John-M-Verdi,
This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it the original Google Home? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?
Since contacts are already added to your household contacts and are working when using the actual number, you can try to set a nickname instead. Follow the steps below:
For more information about making calls, open this link.
Let us know how it goes.

This happens on all devices. I have been using a Nest Audio speaker to try to make calls this go-round. Nothing has changed in the system recently—Google Home app version 3.2.1.7. I also assigned nicknames with no luck. What are the next steps?

Hey John-M-Verdi,
Please make sure to enable Personal results on your Google Home and Nest devices. Turn on your Google Account's Contact Info from your devices and let me know if it helps.
Cheers,
Lovely
