Nest hub (1st gen) will not 'hold' the full screen clock - reverts to 'your morning/afternoon'

Since the recent firmware update my Nest hub will not retain the full screen clock. Tried all reset options, altered every possible setting from the Google home app, but nothing works. I don't want the multi display shown on 'your morning or afternoon', just need it revert the full screen clock (if I have used another casting function)

Hi tfdunbar,

Thanks for reaching out.

Have you already tried to access and turn off "Screen Timeout"? Here's how:

  1. Open the Home app.
  2. Select your device.
  3. Select "Display Settings" and turn off "Screen Timeout".

Let us know if you notice any changes.

Best,

Princess

Thanks for the reply Princess.

I had already turned off the “Screen Timeout”.

Interestingly, I hadn’t seen your reply until the end of the next day, by which time the problem had amazingly disappeared! I hope the screen continues to return to the “clock screen” following my “go home” command - it’s all good at the moment.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Regards, Tom
