Hey folks,

was playing a video while I was in my kids room and I noticed a separate frame next to the video showing a random guy… he’s definitely not part of the video and I wasn’t making a video call..any ideas? I took a recording of it on my phone.

Hi @Jawdat90,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm truly sorry to hear about this experience you had. Seeing a random person appear in a separate frame while you were just playing a video and definitely not on a video call sounds quite alarming, and I completely understand why you'd be concerned.

It's good that you took a recording of it on your phone, as that might be helpful for further investigation if needed.

It would be very helpful if you could share the videos and photos you've taken as evidence.

To do this, you can use Google Drive to upload your files to a folder and then create a public sharing link. Here's how you can do that:

  1. Upload to Google Drive:

    • Go to drive.google.com and sign in with your Google Account.

    • Click on + New in the top left corner, then select Folder upload or File upload.

    • Select the video and photo files you want to share and upload them.

    • Alternatively, you can create a new folder (e.g., "Issue Evidence") by clicking + New > Folder, then drag and drop your files into that new folder.

  2. Generate a Public Sharing Link for the Folder (or individual files):

    • Once your files are uploaded (preferably in a folder), right-click on the folder (or the individual files if not using a folder).

    • Select Share.

    • In the "Get link" section, click on the dropdown that says "Restricted" and change it to "Anyone with the link."

    • Ensure the permission is set to "Viewer" (this allows us to see the content without making any changes).

    • Click Copy link.

    • Then, click Done.

  3. Paste the Link Here:

    • Once you have copied the link, please paste it directly into our chat here.

This visual evidence will provide us with the necessary details to analyze the problem and work towards a solution. Please be mindful that a public link means anyone with the link can view the content, so ensure the content you share is appropriate.

Regards,

Kevin
