Nest hub gen 2 stutters when playing to bluetooth speaker. Is this fixed yet?

I've found a number of threads with the same issue I'm having, but no-one has posted a fix. If there isn't a fix, I'll have to switch to a different platform.

If the hub is paired with a Bluetooth speaker spotify will pause audio after 1/2 second of each start of a song. Every time.

When playing with only the inbuilt speaker, no problem..

All troubleshooting I can think of has been done.

-Tried 3 different speakers 5.0,aptx

-Reboot all devices 

-Firmware current (896)

-Fresh setup

Has anyone actually got this working?

It's been like this for two years and they are not doing anything to fix it

I have the firmware version 1.56.348702.

Of course the steps didn't help, there is a bug and we are waiting for a fix.
Could you update on the progress???

I want to add that this is specially noticeable when using Spotify application, always when starting a song and every few seconds while playing it.
I also sometimes use Tunnein and I havent noticed it there.

Nope, currently listening to Spotify with my nest mini and these lags still persist

I can confirm that it has not been fixed

It's disappointing that such a bug wasn't identified and hot fixed before release let alone remains unpatched years later for new devices on the platform.

It's not like this is an edge case use. It's literally used in promos for the device and in effect is false advertising. 

How should I submit my request for refund?

I am very disappointed with the product as well, at this point I would also like a refund and I will move to the other ecosystem for smart homes.
