Nest hub max ambient, noise stopping

Bobrocks22

My Google nest max keeps stopping ambient rain noise at 3 AM. No matter what I do. I look over, and I see my smart display rebooting with a little Google symbol and no audio at night for the ambient noise that was playing. I ask it to play rain noise and it says that it can’t get to the Internet right now. I check my Internet and it looks fine. Looks like the smart speaker is rebooting. I do use the experimental display with the little weather frog I’m not sure if that’s causing it.

All our Nest Hubs frequently go through a soft reboot initiated by Google Nest around 3:00 am.

Hi folks,

@MplsCustomer, thanks for the assistance.

@Bobrocks22, having a soothing ambient sound really can get you relaxed and it might affect your sleep if it turns off every 3am. Do a sequential reboot first to refresh its connection starting with your WiFi router/modem then your Nest Hub Max. Also, to know more about it, does anyone else have access to your devices and your account with Google Home? If not then click on the links below to gain more information and troubleshooting especially about downtime or filters. Have a go at it:

Note: Ambient sounds will continue to play for 12 hours if not turned off. To turn off ambient sounds, say "Hey Google, stop."

Keep me posted.

Best,

Dan
