The nest hub max usually enters this state when I am sleeping at night. Which forces me to power cycle reboot in the morning. Confirmed that the display is stuck on spinning dots but my smart home commands can be heard and executed in the background.

Hey Sandbuster,
Thanks for reaching out, and apologize for the delays.
We know how it feels when there's something wrong with your Google Nest Hub Max - we're happy to help. A few questions - when was this issue first noticed? Was the device already in this state when you first discovered it? What is the current version of your Nest Hub Max? Also, it will be helpful if you can share a video to have a clear picture of what's happening to your device.
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi
