Nest hub max

I've had a google next hub max for about 3 years and I have the google nest standard subscription.  It has been absolutely fine and recording everything but August this year it has stopped recording everything and only records a few things now sometimes only one thing a day.  I have uninstalled it and rebooted to no avail.  I tried the help centre but says to try in chat hours but I was within the times it's open, so this is why im here as we are away at the weekend and need it so record everything please help me im at my witts end

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Nest Hub Max, which is not recording all the content, even if you have a Nest Aware subscription. I appreciate the steps that you have already taken to solve the situation, including contacting support. I understand how frustrating this could be. But don't worry; help is here. I just need to ask for some information to provide the best solution:

  • Do you have other Nest Cameras in your home aside from the built-in camera of the Nest Hub Max display? If so, does the issue also persist on those cameras?
  • What is the firmware version on the Nest Hub Max?
  • Is this happening on the Nest app or Google Home app?
  • Did you check the website from the Nest app or the Google Home app? If so, are you able to check all the history?
