Nest hub not showing photos, only art gallery

I have 3 hub devices, a nest hub, a second gen nest hub and a nest hub max. I have curated an album in Google photos which I would like displayed on my devices but it just reverts to the art gallery. Which isn’t selected in the home app or on the devices itself. I checked the photo settings on the Google site and individually amended every photo to JPG, under 1280x720 and file size under 500kb. The folder now works on my nest hub 2nd gen but the other 2 devices still just default to the art gallery. It’s so frustrating.

Hi anndroid18,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Nest Hub isn't displaying photos, only the art gallery. I know this can be frustrating, but don't worry, I'm here to help!

Please follow these steps to check your photo source settings:

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Select the device from Home View .
  3. Select the Nest display.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings  > Photo frame.
  5. Choose the preferred photo source:
    • Google Photos
    • Art gallery
    • Full screen clock

I have a question Is the device experiencing the issue a Nest Hub 1st Generation?

I hope this helps! And I will be awaiting your response.

Regards

Manuel
