Nest hub pauses radio whever I swipe to another screen or ask it to display the time or homepage. Routines are also broken: mine are set to give news/weather etc, play the radio, then go to the homescreen (I like to be able to see the time always and there is no clock on the radio streaming screen, which is dumb).
It had worked perfectly until a few days ago, but now the radio plays, the homescreen comes up, and the music stops. As soon as I swipe to any screen, such a s weather frog (cute!) the morning page, to see timers or anything, the music pauses. When I hit play, the screen goes right back to the main radio screen (again, no clock).
Infuriating, as I now have the choice between listening to the radio or knowing what time it is.
This is very recent but extremely annoying, and removes a lot of the usefulness of this device (I have music playing pretty much all the time to mitigate tinnitus) but the different screens are very useful.
And I want the time to be displayed somewhere at all times!

The same has happened to me. My morning routine is
Play BBC Radio 4
Show Home Screen
That's worked perfectly for over 2 years but now stopped working. Show Home Screen used to show the clock and carry on playing the radio now it stops the radio playing.
I was an Google chat and I got the standard Google switch off your router and the device 'troubleshooting routine' which I refused to do. Due to Storm Arwen my electricity for off for nearly 18 hours after this started so it's at the Google end.

I have the same problem. Seems I cannot have the radio on and see what time it is at the same time. This worked fine until a few days ago. I have done the rebooting routine but it makes no difference.

There was a firmware update yesterday and, surprise, it's working properly again.
