Will your nest not connect to wi fi? Because mine won’t either

Thank you for reaching out. I would be more than happy to help get your device running and connected. First, I have some questions to get a better understanding of this situation.

  • First, is this issue still occurring? 
  • Which Google Nest Hub do you have? 1st or 2nd generation? 
  • Is this a new issue? Was your device connected to WiFi before?
  • What type of WiFi do you have? A one-step private connection or a public WiFi that takes you to a landing/login page first?
  • What is your WiFi setup? (single router or multiple access points - how many?)

  • What is the location of the affected device in relation to the WiFi Access Points/Routers? 

  • Did your change WiFi setup recently?

    • If so, was it was working fine before? What did you swap your WiFi to?

  • Could you try to connect your device to a hotspot? Does the issue still occur?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
