Nest mini (2nd GEN) - no audio tasks

google assistant won't use nest mini speaker for reminders/tasks announcement

i've setup tasks for my whole family, but I only get notification on my phone.  in my google home app, all notification are enabled. in google task app, there is no option to choose witch device to use for tasks notifications. is there a way to make google nest mini announce the task on it's speaker? it's a simple thing that a smart assistant should be able to do.
