Hello,
I’ve bought a Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) yesterday and I’m literally thinking of returning it.
I’ve been paying Google Workspace for 2 years so I can have my personal domain on my email account and not fearing my emails being flagged as spam.
This is an account I use for both my private work stuff and for my personal use (Drive storage, Photos etc.)
Yesterday I bought the hub, and have set up the basic functionality. Wanted to try Sleep Sensing and maybe even subscribe to Fitbit next year if it works properly, slammed with: “Sorry, to do that you’ll need to contact your workspace administrator”. Great, contacting myself, again.
Searched the whole Admin Console, granted all permissions to Assistant, still the same.
Opened up the Sleep Sensing support pages, BOOM, Google Workspace accounts not supported.
Is there any legit and viable technical reason on why this is not possible before I sell the Hub and ditch all of Workspace, Youtube Premium and other google services?
Google’s literally p*****g on paid customers at this point.
Best regards

This is the documentation on it but I would draw your attention to the disclaimer at the top.

My experience is the new modern features and some device setups just don't support Workspace accounts, and that has not changed for years, unfortunately. I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but it is the reality, sadly.
