Nest mini (2nd gen) won't set alarms

I recently got a nest mini, I already have a home mini. They're both connected properly and on the Google home app. The home mini has absolutely no issues. However, the nest mini can not set alarms. "I'm sorry I'm not able to set that alarm, please try again in a few seconds." Help.

Thanks for your post. I am sorry to hear that your Google Nest Mini is not setting alarms. That is an odd issue and I understand your concern. Let's get this issue resolved, I would be more than happy to help.

  • Could you please try to do a reboot and Factory Data Reset on your Google Nest Mini? Are there any improvements? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
