I'm getting more and more annoyed with Google. I’ve learnt to live with the fact as a Google Workspace user you treat as a second class citizen for no good reason at all BUT atleast the speakers did what they were supposed to do but now those don’t work correctly.
I have two nest minis in an audio pair that were working fine but over the past couple of months they have popped and cracked while playing music. People say it’s Ultrasonic being on and turning it off reduced it as does turning night mode off but it doesn’t stop it completely. Rebooting them will often fix it for a unspecified time but it comes back.
And to make things worse, when I turn ultrasonic off the left speaker will often have the two volume lights on, this can usually be fixed by turning ultrasonic on and off but it also happens on the left which doesn’t respond to this or a full on reboot. Even turning night mode back on and turning the brightness down still leaves it as being an outing .
It’s basically making them unusable

Hi Wakeypedia,
I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. A few things: when did your popping concern start? What are the steps you tried for this issue?
If you have tried rebooting, perform a complete reset and check if both issues will be resolved.
Keep me in the loop.
Best,
Juni

It started a couple of months back. I thought maybe it was firmware related but it's had another firmware pushed since
I've reset both devices, I've tried running both as solo devices rather in a stereo pair, I've tried in different sockets. Reboots do p reduce it for maybe 5 to 20 mins before coming back. Turning ultrasonic off helps also but then the two volume lights stay on. Flicking ultra sonic on and off turns lights off left/master but not right/slave
