I recently moved my mom into assisted living and have been unable to get her google nest minis to complete set up. I have factory reset them and they seem to start the connection pro but fail with a message “Something went wrong”. Does anyone have a suggestion. Is there a setting that I need to have the IT department adjust to get these to connect? Thanks Robert

Sometimes, if you can provide the IT department for the assisted living facility with the MAC address of the Nest Mini, they can allow it to have access, but it depends on the Wi-Fi setup for each institution.
