My ISP made a change to my router (changed to a different channel is what they said). I do not have access to the router software, it belongs to the isp. Some my wyze smart plugs and one of two google nest minis went offline when they did that. The ones that stayed online are still connected and working fine but the devices that went offline have not reconnected. As for the nest mini 2nd gen I have unplugged, rebooted, factory reset, moved the nest mini closer to my router, restarted the router and still cannot connect to Wi-Fi. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Dscottnm,
This is not the experience we wanted you to have and thanks for doing the troubleshooting steps beforehand. Let me help you. A few things: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it just the Nest Mini? What is the exact error message when reconnecting your Nest Mini?
Changing channels shouldn’t affect your Nest devices and it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
Once done:
If you get an error message that says "could not communicate with your [device]" when you try to forget your network, or the steps above don't work, you'll need to factory reset your device and set it up again.
If you’re not able to control your Wyze smart plugs through their native app then reach out to the Wyze support team to help you out.
Best,
Dan

Hi Dan. I tried again yesterday after leaving the mini unplugged for several days and it was able to connect to Wi-Fi. Maybe the ‘timeout’ improved its attitude. 😉 Thank you!
