Nest speaker announces "Sorry, it looks like ______ isn't available right now." everyday at 12am

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this but I have one speaker and there is nothing else connected but everyday at 12am it makes that announcement. Please help.

Thanks for reaching out to the community! A surprise announcement at midnight can definitely be disruptive. Let's troubleshoot this together and see what might be causing it on your Google Home speaker.

Here are a few things to check:

  1. Routines: Have you set up any routines in the Google Home app that might be triggering an announcement at 12 AM? You can check, edit, or disable them if needed. Check this Change Home & Away Routines Settings link.
  2. Broadcast Messages: Are there any broadcast messages scheduled for 12 a.m. in the Google Home app settings? You can delete or adjust the schedule for these messages. Within the Google Home app, navigate to "Settings" and then "Broadcast messages.
  3. Assistant Announcements: Are there any reminders, news briefings, or other assistant announcements set for 12 AM? Explore the settings within the Google Home app to see if anything is scheduled. Look for settings related to reminders, news, or announcements within the Google Home app or Assistant settings to see if anything is scheduled for 12 AM.

If you're still unable to find the cause after checking these options, let me know. As a last resort, we can consider a factory reset of your Google Home speaker, but this will erase all your customized settings.

Hopefully, one of these steps will help us stop the mysterious announcement at midnight!
