Nest speakers

All my next audio speakers have been connected and when they asked to play music they do so from my connected apple music account. In the google home even thou they are all there it does not show that they are playing music. It will show if i start the process from there rather than a voice command. Id rather you voice command to start playing the music but again it wont show that its playing in the app

Hi pbstrickland,

Thanks for posting.

Before we start some steps, I'd like to know a few things-- are you referring to playing music on a speaker group you created? Also, when you open the Home app from your phone, do you see any indication that music is playing? What phone do you use for your Home app?

Let's go ahead and try first to play music on one speaker only and see if you can see there any option to control the music in the Home app. It would be also helpful if we can try playing music from other music provider aside from Apple Music so we can isolate the issue further.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Princess
